How it works

  1. 1. Prove who you are

Sign up and check your identity with a government ID. We keep the result, never the ID or your date of birth.

  2. 2. Confirm your role

Participants, carers and providers each show what fits their role. A badge tells everyone what we checked and when.

  3. 3. Watch, share and talk

Short captioned videos, groups, events and questions, with reporting and blocking two taps away.

Badges that say what we checked

Each badge lists exactly what was checked. Tap one in the app to read it.

A badge says what Goodo checked, and when. It is not an endorsement, a quality rating or a guarantee about a person's conduct or services.

Frequently asked questions

What is Goodo?

Goodo is an Australian short-form video community for the NDIS. People who use the NDIS, their carers and nominees, and verified providers share short videos, join groups, find events and ask questions. Every account has a verified identity and a verified role.

Is Goodo run by the NDIS or the NDIA?

No. Goodo is independent. It is not affiliated with, run by or endorsed by the NDIA or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, and it does not use the NDIS logo.

What does a Goodo badge mean?

A badge says what Goodo checked, and on what date. For example, a Verified plan manager badge means Goodo checked the person's identity, matched their organisation to the NDIS Provider Register and confirmed it holds registration group 0127. A badge is not a recommendation, a quality rating or a guarantee.

Who can join?

You must be 16 or older. Participants, nominees, carers and family members can join, and so can plan managers, support coordinators, support workers, sole traders, provider staff and allied health professionals who can show they hold the role.

Does it cost anything?

Goodo is designed to be free for participants and carers, with no ads. We do not take referral fees from providers, and paid promotion is always labelled.

Can providers message me without my say-so?

No. You write first. A provider cannot start a private chat with a participant. You can close a chat or block someone at any time.
