What you can do on Goodo

Your badge

There are two routes to the badge: one if you are self-employed, and one if you work for an employer.

Verified support worker

For: Support workers, sole traders, and coordinators or allied health who also deliver support

Identity, an ABN or an employer, and a worker screening clearance and orientation module. Goodo asks for these even where the law would not require them for the worker's role.

Route A (self-employed)

  • Identity verified
  • Active ABN
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Route B (employed)

  • Identity verified
  • Organisation authorised this person
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module

A person earns this badge by completing any one route in full.

A badge says what Goodo checked, and when. It is not an endorsement, a quality rating or a guarantee about a person's conduct or services.

Questions

Do I need a Worker Screening Check to get the badge?

Yes. Goodo makes an NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance and the Worker Orientation Module conditions of the Verified support worker badge, even where the law would not require a check for your role.

Can Goodo look up my clearance?

No. Goodo cannot query the NDIS Worker Screening Database, so a person reviews the clearance evidence you provide. That is why you must tell us if your clearance changes.

What happens to the documents I upload?

They go to a private area that only you and authorised reviewers can open, and the file is deleted 30 days after the decision. Goodo keeps the outcome, reference number and dates.

How often do I need to renew?

Screening clearance every 60 months or earlier if it expires earlier, ABN every 12 months, and identity every 36 months. The orientation certificate does not expire.

Goodo is independent

Goodo is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, run by or endorsed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Join a community where everyone is verified
