What you will need

Prepare:

  • A government ID for the identity check.
  • Your organisation's legal name, ABN and NDIS registration ID.
  • A work email on your organisation's domain, or a short authorisation letter on letterhead from a director or manager.
  • Your organisation to be on the NDIS Provider Register with status Approved and registration group 0127.

Ground rules

  • If your organisation is not on the register or does not hold 0127, Goodo cannot give you the plan manager badge.
  • Vouching must never be done in return for referrals, payment or any benefit. Voucher patterns are monitored, and a voucher who vouches for people who are not participants may lose their own badge.
  • Do not steer participants towards your own or affiliated services without disclosing your interest.
  • Do not say you are NDIS approved or endorsed.

Questions

What does a Verified plan manager badge prove?

On the date shown, Goodo checked the person's identity, matched their organisation to an Approved Provider Register entry that holds group 0127, and confirmed the organisation authorised them. It is not a recommendation or quality rating.

How often is the Provider Register re-checked?

Monthly. If an organisation's status or registration groups change, badges that depend on it are re-evaluated and can be revoked.

What is vouching?

A verified plan manager or support coordinator can confirm in the app that they know someone as a participant, nominee or carer through their work. The vouch is a statement of a genuine working relationship, lasts 12 months and can be withdrawn.

Does a vouch give me access to the participant's account?

No. Vouching gives the voucher no access to the vouched person's account or information.

Goodo is independent

Goodo is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, run by or endorsed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
