What you can do on Goodo

What you will need

Everyone starts with an identity check. After that it depends on your role:

  • Provider staff: your organisation on the NDIS Provider Register with status Approved, and your organisation's confirmation that you work there (usually a matched work email).
  • Plan managers: the above, plus your organisation holds registration group 0127 Plan Management.
  • Support coordinators: either a registered organisation holding group 0106, or an active ABN, worker screening clearance, orientation module and insurance certificate.
  • Support workers and sole traders: an active ABN or employer confirmation, a worker screening clearance and the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • Allied health professionals: your AHPRA registration number.

Ground rules

  • Never say Goodo or a badge means you are NDIS approved or endorsed. The NDIS does not approve providers.
  • Never say you are registered unless you are on the NDIS Provider Register.
  • No gifts, discounts, cash or other benefits to win participants, and no referral fees or commissions.
  • Plan managers and support coordinators must not steer participants to their own or affiliated services without disclosing it.
  • Never film or share information about people you support without proper consent.

Questions

Can I pay for a badge or for more reach?

No. Paying Goodo does not affect a verification decision, and badges cannot be bought. Any paid promotion is clearly labelled.

How long does verification take?

Automatic checks such as identity, ABN, Provider Register and AHPRA take minutes. Documents that need a person to review them, such as screening clearances and insurance, are a 3 business day target. It is a target, not a promise.

What happens if one of my credentials expires?

Your badge lapses at once, with no grace period. You keep your account, your videos stay up and your other credentials stay in place. You cannot post new videos until you renew.

Is there a fee for providers?

There is no fee during the invite-only beta. Any future provider fees will be set out in our Terms and will never buy a badge or a referral.

Goodo is independent

Goodo is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, run by or endorsed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Join a community where everyone is verified

Goodo is for people who use the NDIS, the people who care for them, and the providers who support them. It is free for participants and carers.
