Goodo

About

A video community that people can trust

Finding good information about the NDIS can be hard, and finding people you can trust is harder. Goodo is a place where people talk openly, because they know who they are talking to.

Why Goodo

Lots of useful NDIS advice is shared on social media, mixed in with ads, scams and people who are not who they say they are. Participants and carers told us they want real experience from people like them, and clear, honest information from providers. Providers told us they want a fair way to show what they do.

Goodo is short video, with a verification layer. Everyone proves their identity. Providers show the registrations and clearances that back their role. Everyone follows the same Community Guidelines.

What Goodo is not

  • Goodo is not an NDIS provider. It does not deliver supports, make bookings or take payments.
  • Goodo does not give professional, legal, medical or financial advice.
  • A badge is not an endorsement, a quality rating or a guarantee.
  • Goodo is not run or endorsed by the NDIA or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, and does not use the NDIS logo.

Conflicts of interest

Plan managers and support coordinators must not steer people to their own or affiliated services without saying so. Goodo does not take referral fees, labels paid promotion, and does not allow vouching in return for anything. Read our Conflict of Interest Statement.

Goodo is independent

Goodo is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, run by or endorsed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Where we are

Goodo is in development with a co-design group. We are planning an Australia-only launch, starting invite-only. Details about the team, company and registration will be added here before launch.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Checked, not just claimed

People prove who they are, and providers show their role. Badges say what was checked and when.

  • Participants are in charge

Participants write first, control their location, and can report and block in two taps.

  • No pay-to-play

We never charge participants, take referral fees or sell badges. Paid promotion is always labelled.

  • Accessible by default

Captions on every video, plain language, reduced motion and Easy Read are part of the product, not extras.

  • Collect as little as possible

We do not keep ID or dates of birth, we delete evidence after review, and we show no ads.

  • Built with the community

A paid co-design group of participants, carers and providers shapes what we build.

Join a community where everyone is verified

Goodo is for people who use the NDIS, the people who care for them, and the providers who support them. It is free for participants and carers.
