Worker screening in Tasmania

An NDIS Worker Screening Check is applied for through the worker screening unit in the state or territory where the worker applies. In Tasmania that is:

Consumer, Building and Occupational Services (CBOS)

Visit the TAS agency website

NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDIS Commission)

For the Verified support worker badge, Goodo asks for the clearance number, state or territory and expiry date. We review the evidence you give us. We cannot query the national screening database ourselves, so please tell us within 2 business days if your clearance changes.

Working with children in Tasmania? The relevant check is separate: Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Tasmania). Goodo records it when provided, but it is not currently needed for any badge.

Agency names, links and processes change. Check the agency site for current fees, ID requirements and forms before you apply.
